Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. She has been widely recognized for being the pioneer of research into witnesses from children as well as memories of eyewitnesses in the legal setting. Professor Goodman has published extensively with numerous grants, and has received many international and national prizes. She has collaborated with numerous governments and organizations across the world on research and policies relating to children who have been victims of the justice system. She works as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional associations, for example, that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She was president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policy and Practice.
