Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, also called Ashanti, was born on the 13th of October of 1980, at Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Ashanti was discovered as an 18-year-old and was became signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. That same year, she made an appearance on Fat Joe's What's Luv? And Fat Joe's What's Lulv?
