Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose tales of youthful heartache earned her widespread popularity in the first decade of the 20th century. Swift was a fan of music from an early stage of her life. She swiftly rose through the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater before performing before a large crowd. Swift in 2011, at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. The year after that she started writing her own songs. Swift wrote original songs that was inspired by country artists like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens being apathetic. Swift's parents relocated her to Tennessee at the age of 13 when they decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm. The move allowed Swift to spend more time trying to find labels that would promote the country genre in Nashville.
